. . .the sincerest form of flattery,’ a saying that always bothered me. I hated those who would simply copy and not generate ideas of their 
own. But a couple of days ago I wanted to challenge myself to make something for next to nothing. I went to the local dollar store, spent $5 on flowers, sparkly eggs, and a wicker wreath then set to work crafting my own original door hanging. (My door has looked really bare since Christmas.) I soon realized my mistake when I got home, I only bought one of everything and forgot I had a mini-crafter. Every two seconds Shydra asked me if she could have the scrap flowers or ribbons or eggs. Then she hounded me until I gave in and took her to buy her own little wicker wreath. She was sooo proud of her results that looked “almost just like mommy’s!” This kind of imitation is very flattering and I’m afraid very fleeting.

I think you should make those for a living! (along with dancing of course:)) Seriously, I've been looking to buy an Easter wreath, but they are all like 20 bucks!! So cute!
