My sister has been a big help, although probably unknown to herself, at helping keep one of my news years resolutions this month. One of my resolutions was to read more. I love books but I’m out of the habit of picking up a book when I have a spare minute. For my birthday, Rhiannon got me a book: The complete Novels of Jane Austin, who happens to be my all time favorite author. I have hardly been able to put this, rather large, book down despite having read “Emma” and “Sense and Sensibility” twice and “Pride and Prejudice” at least three times before. So thanks for helping out! It has given me and will continue to give me joy!
Some of my other resolutions include losing a little weight (I know sooo cliché!) and taking more pictures of my kids. Not just the big events but moments that capture who they are When Shy was really little, I was rather good at this but have let the busy things of life take precedent. This is my first attempt at getting out the camera and getting Reed to make some of his crazy faces. Those who know Reed know what I’m talking about.
There are more resolutions and I’m almost 1/12th of the way there for keeping them for a year! Wish me luck and good luck with keeping all of yours everyone!
